Writing
I began my student career at Saint Mary's
University in Winona, MN, in 1998 with aspirations of
becoming an acclaimed journalist. Little did I know
that a major in Electronic Publishing would offer me
the opportunity to incorporate my creativity used in
writing into other forms of expression. Thus, providing
me with a more well-rounded education and professional
background.
As my career path currently leads me down a more graphical
road, I am fortunate enough to have several opportunities
to hone my journalistic skills. I write a spotlight
column each month in our newsletter at TownNews.com
that features different customers and products. I also
am contracted freelance correspondent for the Quad-City
Times in Davenport, IA.
Below are what I belived to be my best samples of my
writing, gathered from newspapers and newsletters since
2001. |
